Rev. Dan Thompson, a resident of Springfield, VA, was ordained in 1962. He currently serves as a licensed minister in the Washington, DC area, serving as the associate pastor of Word of Life Church in Springfield, VA. He also has been ordained and licensed with the Methodist and Wesleyan Church.

Rev. Dan is a member of Federation of Christian Ministers, the National Association of Wedding Ministers, and the American Association of Wedding Officiates. He is also a charter member of the Association of Christian Counselors. Licensed in Virginia, Maryland and D.C. and also the military posts throughout the Greater Metropolitan area, Rev. Thompson has more than 52 years of making those events special indeed.

Rev. Dan graduated from John Wesley College (now known as Laurel University) in High Point, NC. He and his wife, Lynda, are part of the Word of Life Assembly of God.
